My room was not cleaned for the entire visit ( 4 days) and this was a surgical ward. There was dust on every surface and the table tray not wiped for days.

The food was disappointing, I was looking forward to the beautiful vegetarian dishes I remembered.

The ER can be slow at times, some of the nurses are hit and miss. But the ER is clean and efficient. I will always choose The San over other hospitals in this area.

The staff on many occassions sounded like a hens party outside my room when they got together.

Went for hospital tour and was amazed with the professionalism and features they have in the facility. The nurse was giving attention to everyone . The design was appropriate to handle patients and one standard room than having multiple grades ( economy, premium, deluxe).

Was disappointed on this visit. I had two children at this hospital over 20 years ago and could not have faulted it. Just been in for hip surgery and surprised at the fall in quality of this hospital on a number of grounds:

Worst experience of my life. Paid $13,000 to lye in my own blood for 3 days after surgery continuously asking to be unclipped from machienes that didnt even work so i can shower and change my sheets and was completely ignored. Was given food i was allowed to eat and had to repeatedly remind the nurses to give me my medicine. Heart monitor didnt work and not a single dr could find my vains which lead to my drip leakinh into my arm and creating very nad swelling and bruising which 2 weeks later is still horrific and painful. After paying 13 000 to lye in a bed i was still billed almost 500 for blood tests. I was only in there for 3 days and recall 1 blood test. Lying money hungry hospital. They should be ashamed of themselves. I wish i read the reviews first.

Dr Greg McDonald in the ER is a wonderful man. He has cared for both myself and my 4 yr old daughter under emergency conditions and is very thorough and down to earth.

I was left in the shower after surgery and the nurse disappeared, leaving me calling for her for quite some time ( a New Graduate) , not sure about the quality of nurse training anymore.

The ward ran out of towels so I didn't get a clean towel for days.

Doctors in ER was very patient with my son. He addressed his pain and took the time to gain his trust before treating him. The nurses were informative and interactive. Very pleased with the treatment and care we received.
